On January 20, 2006, I was among the 7.7 million viewers who tuned into the Disney’s Channel premiere of High School Musical, which was the most successful Disney Channel Original Movies (
DCOM) ever produced. I loved it so much, I bought the DVD and the Soundtrack, including the karaoke tracks. So naturally, when I found out that there was a traveling cast performing on stage at Capitol Theater, I
couldn't wait to buy tickets. And thanks to my friend Celeste, I
didn’t have to go by myself.
Here is the illegal picture I took. Ooops!
A picture I found on the web. (Our seats weren't that close)
Besides the fun music, one of my favorite things about the show was the scenery. It was absolutely amazing and a lot of fun. The cast was nothing compared to the original actors, but I still enjoyed it. I had to try really hard to stay in my seat and keep from singing out loud. Of course, during the finale, I didn't hesitate to sing along. It was so much fun!!
