It Just Keeps Getting Worse

I seriously can't take any more bad news when it comes to the media. It all started a few weeks ago when Marian was killed off of Robin Hood. Now I receive another blow....and another. In my anticipation for the upcoming Season of Robin Hood (and when I say upcoming, I mean Season 3 which was to air in Great Britain this fall), I got on the Internet and was shocked when I read the following...

"Jonas Armstrong, who plays Robin Hood in the BBC's remake of the classic tale, is to leave the show at the end of the third series. According to producers, the Irish-born actor will bow out in an explosive and nail-biting finale.".... in 2009

What?!? How can he do this to me? And to make matters worse, it won't even start airing in Great Britain until 2009, which means it might not be until 2010 when it airs in America. I can't believe my eyes. How can my heart be broken so many times in such a short period. I was really hoping to see the first couple of episodes of Season 3 when I am over in Scotland and Ireland this fall, but now I know that won't be happening. And to lose Robin Hood!! What are these actors thinking??? Don't they know that we rely on them for our entertaining pleasures. Seriously! How selfish can people be!?!

And to make matters worse, I read the following statement on the Internet....

Despite the recent Internet premiere of a certain highly anticipated trailer, Warner Bros. has announced that it's bumping the release date of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince to next summer. The film, originally slated to unspool Nov. 21, won't be bewitching us until July 17, 2009.

Seriously!! Don't these people understand what they are doing to us! I had so many things to look forward to in the next few months and now my excitement has been crushed. How ever will I recover?

OK, I know I'm being all dramatic, but I am not a happy camper at the moment. I guess this will only make 2009 a bit more of something to look forward to.

I am so with you...I read that the HP movie is completed. The only reason they are pulling it, is so that they could make more money in the summer. Who cares about summer. What movie am I going to see over the holidays. I tell ya I am not happy with Hollywood right now. AHHHHHH

Christi, how will you go on living? Do I need to fear for your life?

Oh my gosh Christi!! Your blog is the first I've heard of the Harry Potter news. That makes me sad. I was really looking forward to the movie. Someone should write a strongly worded letter. I shake my fist at this idea!
